What Olive is, how it works, and what to expect.
What is Olive? Is it a person?
Olive is an AI coach for everyday emotional support. It isn’t a person or a therapist. You get a weekly phone call and unlimited texting, with a conversational style shaped by the qualities you choose.
How do I get started?
Choose a few words to describe your ideal coach, add your own, or do both. Preview your Olive, then sign up with your name and mobile number. Olive texts you to arrange an introductory call. After that call, you’ll receive a link to set up your weekly plan.
What can I talk about with Olive?
Everyday worries, difficult conversations, relationships, recurring patterns, or a goal you’re working toward. You can start with a specific question or simply explain what’s on your mind.
How do the weekly calls and texts work?
You agree on a time for your call, and Olive calls your phone. Between calls, you can text in your usual messages app. Olive uses context from your previous conversations so you don’t have to start over each time. There’s no app to download.
How much does Olive cost? Can I cancel?
Olive costs $15 USD per week for one weekly call and unlimited texting. You set up payment after your introductory call. You can cancel through your account at any time; access continues until the end of your paid week.
Is Olive a replacement for therapy?
No. Olive offers everyday support. It is not a therapist, medical provider, or emergency service, and it does not replace professional care. Olive is for adults aged 18 and over.
What happens to my conversations?
Olive stores messages and memory notes to keep context between conversations. Read the privacy policy for details about how your information is used. To request deletion, email contact@getkahani.com.
Where can I use Olive?
Signup currently accepts US and Canadian mobile numbers. You must be at least 18 and agree to receive Olive’s texts and calls. Message and data rates may apply.
